Journeys to English is a set of stories and interactive language practice activities based on the personal stories of seven people who have studied English in Australia.

Stories with Comprehension, Grammar, Pronunciation and Spelling activities are at two levels:

  • Level 1: Elementary, suitable for ISLPR 1-/1
  • Level 2: Intermediate, suitable for ISLPR 1+/2

Exercise types include:

  • match two halves of the sentence
  • multiple choice
  • true or false?
  • sequencing
  • fill the gap
  • how many syllables
  • word stress
  • listen and choose the right word
  • listen and type the word
